Yasemin Besen-Cassino, professor and chair, received a PhD in sociology from State 大学 of 纽约, 石溪. Her research interests include: Work and Labor; Youth; Gender; Quantitative Methodology; and Ethnography. She teaches courses including: Sociological 研究 Methods, 社会学 of Gender, Work and Professions, 社会学 of the Family, 男人 & Masculinities, and Interviews and Focus Groups. Besen-Cassino was recognized as 大学 Distinguished Scholar (2012-13). She is the author of two books published by Temple 大学 Press: The Cost of Being a Girl: Working Teens and the Origins of the Gender Wage Gap (2018)和 使用工作 by Temple 大学 Press (2014). She is also the editor of Contemporary 社会学.

Christopher Donoghue, associate professor, received a PhD in sociology from Fordham 大学, 纽约. His research interests include: Bullying, Ethnic and Racial Prejudice, and Aging and Health. He teaches courses including Survey 研究, 研究 Project Management, Statistics for Social 研究, Sociological 研究 Methods, Poverty and Social Welfare, and 社会学 of Education.

蒂莫西·戈尔曼, assistant professor, received a PhD in Development 社会学 from Cornell 大学. His research interests include: global development; food and agriculture; and environmental sociology. He teaches courses including Environmental 社会学 and 社会学 of Rich and Poor Nations.

Sangeeta Parashar, associate professor, received a PhD in sociology from the 大学 of Maryland, 学院公园. Her research interests include: Social Demography; Development/Globalization; and 社会学 of Health and Work. She teaches courses including Statistics for Social 研究, 社会学 of Aging, 社会学 of Rich and Poor Nations, Social Inequality, and 社会学 of Population.

Stephen Ruszczyk, assistant professor, received a PhD from the City 大学 of 纽约. His research interests include immigration, 公民身份, 学校, 拉丁美洲人, community-based organizations and qualitative methods. He currently teaches courses including Urban 社会学 and Latino 社会学.

Vikash辛格, associate professor, received a PhD in sociology from Rutgers 大学. His research interests include: Religion; Race and Ethnicity, Social and Psychoanalytic Theory; and Globalization. He teaches courses on topics of race, social theory, and religion.

Tanesha托马斯, assistant professor, received a PhD in sociology from the Graduate Center of the City 大学 of 纽约. Her research interests include spatial demography, intersectionality, and the political economy of the environment. She has written about the spatial distribution of environmental hazards across the United States. She is particularly interested in the structural forces that produce and maintain environmental inequalities in marginalized communities.

勇王, associate professor, received a PhD in sociology from Iowa State 大学. His research interests include: Theory; Cultural 社会学; Text Analysis; and Statistics. He regularly teaches 社会学 of Rich and Poor Nations, Social Statistics, 数据分析, 社会学 of Mass Media, and Social Theory.
